David Wagner previewed Norwich City’s Championship game against Blackpool on Monday - and we had all the key lines first direct from Colney.

Wagner set the scene for the final match of a season where the Canaries have fallen well short of their promotion target.

Teemu Pukki's farewell is the headline story as this Norwich squad bid to sign off with a first win in five at Carrow Road.

The City head coach confirmed Josh Sargent is out for the game with a shin issue he has been managing in recent weeks. But the US international just needs rest over the early part of the summer.

Onel Hernandez is back after he missed out with a knee issue at the Hawthorns, but Wagner did indicate after the game the Cuban would return to training this week.

Kieran Dowell has played his last game for the club after the Canaries confirmed earlier on Friday he will leave at the end of his current deal. Dowell suffered a knee ligament injury against Birmingham City in February.

Sam Byram, Michael McGovern and Danel Sinani will also depart at the end of their Carrow Road contracts this summer.

Grant Hanley (Achilles) is ruled out for months, after undergoing surgery last month. Ben Gibson (hamstring), Kenny McLean (knee) and Przemyslaw Placheta (shin) will target pre-season returns for their club.
