Ashley Barnes replaces the injured Marcelino Nunez for Norwich City's Championship meeting with Sunderland this afternoon.

That's the only change to the Canaries' starting line-up, but head coach David Wagner has responded to injury issues by including under-21 regulars Finley Welch and Ken Aboh in his matchday squad.

Shane Duffy is absent with a muscle injury expected to keep him out until the international break, while Onel Hernandez saw his season cut short earlier this week by a broken foot in training.

Nunez misses out with a hip injury sustained in City's 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers last weekend, but he's expected to return in time for the visit of Rotherham United next Saturday.

Jonathan Rowe will be out until April with a hamstring injury, leaving only Borja Sainz and Christian Fassnacht as regular first-team wingers.

Sunderland have injury troubles of their own, with top scorer Jack Clarke, who scored in their 3-1 win in the reverse fixture, out for six weeks with an ankle issue. Former Norwich loanee Patrick Roberts is also missing.
