Norwich City head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup previewed Plymouth's midweek Championship visit - and we had all the key news from Colney.

City ended a run of three consecutive league defeats on Saturday in a spirited 2-2 draw at West Brom that saw the returns from injury of Angus Gunn, Liam Gibbs and Onel Hernandez.

Kenny McLean is available again for the Pilgrims after a four-match suspension. But Kellen Fisher is ruled out of the Carrow Road game on Tuesday following a fifth yellow card of the campaign at the Hawthorns.

Thorup confirmed Jose Cordoba (knee) is out until the QPR game at the earliest with pain his knee following recent international duty.

But the Dane indicated it was a different issue to a previous knee complaint suffered earlier this season against Leeds.

Marcelino Nunez (hamstring) will not be risked on Tuesday but is in Thorup's thoughts for Saturday's home game against Luton.

Ashley Barnes returns to the match night squad for Tuesday after six months out with calf-related problems.

Thorup discussed who gets the nod for the suspended Kellen Fisher at left-back, Ante Crnac's lack of goals and Wayne Rooney's coaching impact with the Pilgrims.

The City head coach held his press briefing on Monday afternoon at the Colney training centre.
