Norwich City have completeed their summer squad transfer overhaul under sporting director Ben Knapper and head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup.

Liverpool winger Kaide Gordon was confirmed at 11:40pm after sealing a season long loan move.

Gordon emerged as a loan target on Friday afternoon, and headed to Norfolk for a late night medical and to complete the formalities on his Championship switch.

City were in the market for a wide option after sanctioning Abu Kamara's move to Hull City.

Hull City returned on Friday morning with a package that met City's valuation for Kamara, which could top £5m.

The 21-year-old was granted permission to travel to London to undergo a medical prior to heading north after lodging a written transfer request recently.

Earlier in the day, Sheffield United midfielder, Anis Ben Slimane, completed his loan move to become the Canaries' seventh senior signing, with a buy option that under certain conditions may become a permanent deal at the end of this season.

Danish-bred Slimane emerged as the club's primary midfield target this week after discussions with Real Madrid over a move for Brazilian Reinier ended when City opted to pursue Slimane. Reinier instead sealed a deadline day loan move to La Liga 2 club, Granada.

Thorup confirmed at Colney on Thursday that deadline day would bring a flurry of loan exits for some of his younger talents. Dan Barden joined Swindon Town and Ken Aboh joined Stevenage on season long loans. Lewis Shipley joined Cheltenham until January.

City also completed deals for Dundee United's 18-year-old forward, Brandon Forbes, Chelsea's young defender Billy Gee, and Middlesbrough's AJ Bridge in the final hour of the window. All three will initially be part of the club's development pool.
