Former Norwich City first-team coach Liam Bramley has landed a new role in the FA's England coaching set-up, stepping up to lead their under-18s.

Bramley moved back to St George's Park earlier this year, just over 12 months after he was sacked by City along with ex-boss Dean Smith.

He previously spent 13 years in different roles within the FA, and has now been promoted to the chief of the age group for the 2024-25 season, seven months after returning.

He'll start his tenure with the Lafrage International Tournament in September, the Young Lions' opener coming against Portugal on Wednesday, September 4.

Bramley joined Norwich in January 2022 after Smith had been appointed to replace Daniel Farke, playing a part in the unsuccessful attempt to stay in the Premier League before departing in December the same year.

He has also previously worked for Aston Villa and Newcastle United as an academy coach.
