Old faces back in the Norwich City mix but now a waiting game to add to the summer signing of Jose Cordoba.

Johannes Hoff Thorup has brought his squad out to Belgium for a pre-season tour that included a midweek defeat against Belgian champions, Club Brugge, and Saturday's finale against Standard Liege.

That game may be an opportunity for a first sighting of the summr on the pitch for the club's Scottish Euro2024 trio. Angus Gunn, Grant Hanley and Kenny McLean all linked up with the Canaries prior to flying out.

Joining them was Marcelino Nunez, after his Copa America duty with Chile, while Cordoba and Josh Sargent are scheduled to re-join the group from Monday after their Copa America exploits.

But it would appear Manchester City loan target Callum Doyle is set to head to America with his parent club. The Canaries have identified Doyle, and positioned themselves at the head of a pack of Championship clubs.

But can they afford to wait until, potentially the week before the league kick-off at Oxford before the 20-year-old is released for a season long loan?

City are also believed to be actively exploring options for a second left-sided defender, given both Dimi Giannoulis and Sam McCallum departed last season.

Development prospect Guilherme Montoia has started the opening two pre-season friendlies.

In terms of outs, all quiet on that front. Adam Idah made his first Norwich appearance since January against Brugge, and Thorup talked up his importance after the game, amid those persistent Celtic links.

Likewise, Thorup hailed the professionalism of Gabby Sara and Jon Rowe not to get caught up in transfer distractions around their future during the summer window.

Who can City realistically keep, and who do you expect to depart?

Two very different pre-season opponents so far in terms of quality and status but have you been impressed by the first glimpses of 'Thorupball?'

This is your debate, not ours. You set the agenda.
