Nottingham Forest midfielder Lewis O'Brien is not on Norwich City's transfer target list.
The Canaries were linked with the 25-year-old at the weekend, along with newly-relegated Luton Town.
Ipswich Town, Sheffield United and Preston have also been touted with reported interest in recent days, but City are not looking at the former Huddersfield midfielder.
The Canaries were tipped with a season-long loan move, although the East Midlands club favour a permanent exit this summer for O'Brien, who had an injury-hit stint at Middlesbrough last season.
Kenny McLean has been heavily linked with Rangers, and Marcelino Nunez is in the sights of Turkish club, Trabzonspor, but the Norwich duo are expected to report back to the club after an extended break following international commitments.
McLean was part of the Scotland squad who exited the Euros at the group stage, while Nunez's Chile endured a disappointing pool phase exit at the Copa America.
Adam Idah, Jon Rowe, Gabby Sara and Josh Sargent are all expected to attract interest this summer.
City have so far recruited Jose Cordoba to their squad, but are expected to target the loan and free agent market as they seek to further bolster Johannes Hoff Thorup's options.
Ken Aboh's new Norwich deal is poised to be confirmed in the next day or two.
