- Jon Rowe definitely ruled out for Watford. Further scans scheduled later on Monday afternoon on a suspected hamstring injury that saw him depart in the final minute of Saturday's 2-2 Championship draw at QPR.
- Josh Sargent fit and available. Withdrawn in the closing stages at QPR as a precaution after a disrupted training week. Wagner indicated there was no specific issue last week but managing his body after his long lay-off.
- Jack Stacey fit and available. Was also a second half departure at Loftus Road, after suffering illness on Friday night at the team hotel.
- Wagner reported no fresh fitness issues, Rowe-aside, from those on duty in west London.
- Shane Duffy (calf) set for a follow up scan later this week. Wagner indicated last week he could miss a few games after suffering the issue in the second half of the Coventry City win.
