- Dimi Giannoulis trained since Monday and available after he missed out at Ipswich Town last weekend, in what Wagner labelled a precautionary move regarding a 'slight' hamstring injury.
- No other fitness issues relating to those who were on duty at Portman Road
- Grant Hanley (hamstring) could be a squad option from Boxing Day onwards at West Brom. Wagner wants to give him a first start in the FA Cup third round early next month. The Scot played 45 mins for the U21s last Sunday in Manchester. Picked up a recent hamstring issue that halted his comeback from an Achilles injury earlier this year. Wagner indicated last week the defender was likely to need two weeks to build up his fitness
- Ben Gibson (broken foot) and Hwang Ui-jo (hamstring) back in training this week. Gibson's partner has given birth to a second child in recent days. Wagner will make a decision following Friday's final training session if both are involved this weekend
- Josh Sargent (ankle ligaments) will return to training on Monday. Not featured since August and the reverse fixture at Huddersfield. Wagner will assess from there when the American returns to his Championship squads
- Jacob Sorensen (pelvis) is also back in training. But Wagner cautioned he will need some minutes at development level before he is considered for first team duty
