Scotland are without Norwich City goalkeeper Angus Gunn this evening as they attempt to top their Euro 2024 qualification group.

The Tartan Army have already qualified for the tournament this summer, but are hoping to secure a preferable round robin placing in Germany by finishing ahead of Spain in Group A.

They face Georgia away from home at 5pm (UK time), and have Canaries midfielder Kenny McLean available for selection. The interim City captain has primarily featured as a substitute for Steve Clarke’s side, but scored a vital late winner against Norway in June.

Adam Idah scored a similarly important late goal for City in their 3-2 win over Cardiff on Saturday, and he could feature for the Republic of Ireland a week on from that victory. The Boys in Green face the Netherlands at 7:45pm this weekend, with Shane Duffy another Norwich player in Stephen Kenny’s squad.

Andrew Omobamidele, who left Carrow Road on transfer deadline day earlier this year, is in the squad despite failing to make a single matchday squad with new club Nottingham Forest.

Loanee Hwang Ui-jo headed in the opposite direction on that day, and he’s been called up by South Korea for their games against Singapore and China.

Marcelino Nunez is also in action on Saturday but in the early hours, with his Chile side kicking off against Paraguay just after midnight.

Dimitris Giannoulis has been called up by Greece as they take on New Zealand and France in the coming weeks, while loan export Christos Tzolis has joined up with the country’s under-21s for their clashes with the Faroe Islands and Portugal.

Jonathan Tomkinson, Tony Springett and Jonathan Rowe have also been selected for age group sides, representing the USA, the Republic of Ireland and England respectively.
