Norwich City travel to South Wales this evening searching for consistency as they prepare to face Swansea. 

City recorded a vital win over Birmingham on Saturday and are hoping to maintain that form in their final two matches before the upcoming hiatus for internationals - starting tonight in Swansea before a trip to Coventry this weekend.

Goals from Gabriel Sara and Jon Rowe were enough to steady the ship after a 6-2 defeat to Plymouth and helped repair some of the trust that was damaged after that demolition in Devon.

With this game marking the 10th of the campaign for Norwich, David Wagner is targeting a more consistent level of perform as they continue their mission to be involved in the play-off picture. They head into tonight's clash sitting in 6th after defeats for Hull and Cardiff on Tuesday.

Swansea are hoping to record consecutive victories over Norwich for the first time since 2009 - whilst Wagner is yet to see either his Huddersfield or City sides net against the Swans in three attempts.

Norwich will be without winger Borja Sainz in South Wales after he sustained an ankle knock during an U21s outing against West Brom on Sunday. Wagner will be taking extra caution with the Spaniard who is working his way back from a longer term issue.

Midfield duo Jacob Sorensen and Marcelino Nunez are both set to return to team training this week and could be options for the Canaries after the fortnight pause. Josh Sargent and Ashley Barnes remain sidelined with ankle and knee injuries respectively.

Grant Hanley is a long term absentee for City and is cautiously continuing his rehabilitation from an Achilles injury.

Swansea bounce into this clash buoyed by back-to-back 3-0 victories over Sheffield Wednesday and Millwall having stabilised a slow start under new boss Michael Duff.

Despite their struggles, the Swans have lost just one of their last nine home matches and will be hoping to continue their improvement against Norwich this evening.

Duff will make late calls on the fitness of Kristian Pedersen and striker Jerry Yates, but on loan Arsenal midfielder Charlie Patino is expected to be fit enough to feature. Azeem Abdulai (hamstring), Nathan Wood (ankle), Joe Allen (groin) and Josh Ginnelly (Achilles) are all sidelined.
