Norwich City are not interested in signing Sparta Prague striker Jan Kuchta before Friday's deadline.
Reports in Czechia had credited the Canaries with an interest in the striker but Kuchta is understood not to be a target for David Wagner and Stuart Webber in the final days of the window.
Norwich are thought to have shown interest in the 26-year-old earlier in the window but have now moved onto other targets.
The 26-year-old is permitted to depart the current champions despite converting a season-long loan move from Lokomotiv Moscow into a permanent deal earlier this summer.

Various reports in the country, originally from the respected newspaper Denik Sport, had credited Norwich with an interest in the striker.
Kuchta netted 16 goals in 32 matches in all competitions for Sparta Prague last season and played a prominent role in their title-winning campaign.
He has started the season brightly again, netting three times in his opening four league matches for the club.
Relations over the summer have turned sour, however, and Sparta are prepared to sanction an exit for the highly-rated Czechia international, the reports suggest.
He re-joined Sparta after leaving Russia following their invasion of Ukraine and enjoyed a fruitful temporary spell with the club - convincing them to activate a €2.5million clause back in July.
After Josh Sargent's injury on Saturday, suspected to be ankle ligament damage, it remains to be seen whether Norwich could be tempted back into the market to source a replacement for the USA international ahead of Friday's deadline.
Currently, they only have Adam Idah and Ashley Barnes as their senior striking options, with Wagner preferring two forwards in his system this season.
City's boss was reluctant to suggest that Sargent's injury meant a late foray into the market was possible and listed internal solutions as they await the extent of the striker's lay-off.
“I don't think so. I think we are covered in this area quite well,” he told the Pink Un on Saturday. “You’ve seen Adam in this game. He has done fantastic. Ashley is in top form. Liam (Gibbs) can play in that area of the pitch, like Nacho (Marcelino Nunez) and (Przemyslaw) Placheta. We are quite well covered."
Supporters are anxiously awaiting the verdict on Sargent's scan and the ramifications for what that means for the rest of the window.
Kuchta has also been linked with Danish side Midtjylland - with an exit looking increasingly likely.
The striker was an unused substitute in their 3-1 victory over Karvina on Sunday, with speculation around his future intensifying - but he will not be ending up at Carrow Road.
