Norwich City are hoping to maintain their unbeaten start to the Championship campaign as David Wagner returns to Huddersfield Town this afternoon

The Canaries have taken seven points from a possible nine and have recaptured the hearts of supporters after a turbulent relationship towards the end of last season.

Wagner's side recorded a dominant 3-1 victory over Millwall last weekend with a performance that reaffirmed why so many are feeling in good spirits about their prospect throughout this campaign.

Goals from Jon Rowe, who has netted four in the opening four matches, Josh Sargent and Ashley Barnes saw them comfortably swat Gary Rowett's men to one side in NR1.

Norwich will once again be without Onel Hernandez (arm). The Cuban international is unlikely to return for the Bristol City game in midweek but could make Rotherham next weekend.

Borja Sainz has been pictured running this week as he steps up his recovery and Wagner has revealed he is earmarked for a team training return during the upcoming international break. That also applies to Jonathan Tomkinson and Jacob Sorensen.

New signing Adam Forshaw is believed to have been registered in time to feature this afternoon and trained with his new team mates yesterday. The 31-year-old was officially unveiled as a City player earlier this morning.

Huddersfield are still searching for their first win of the season under Neil Warnock but have shown promise in performances against Middlesbrough and Leicester.

Warnock proved himself to be a great escapologist again last season when he kept the Terriers in the division against all the odds. He is hoping to utilise his magic wand again this season to steer them out of trouble.

Wagner is relishing the prospect of a John Smith's Stadium return, having enjoyed a hugely successful three and a half years as Huddersfield boss.

The now-Norwich head coach led them to the Premier League and secured legendary status at the football club.

There also be returns for numerous members of City's backroom team, including coaches Narcis Pelach and Paul Clements - both of whom were on Warnock's staff last season.
