Anis Ben Slimane comes in for his full Norwich City debut this evening as the Canaries face Leeds United at Carrow Road.
Slimane replaces Oscar Schwartau in head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup's only change from Saturday's 3-2 win over Derby County, having impressed as a substitute against Coventry and the Rams.
Ben Chrisene misses out on the matchday squad as he recovers from a concussion, and will also be absent for Saturday's clash with Hull.
Onel Hernandez is absent after sustaining a hamstring injury in the Watford win 10 days ago, with the expected time frame for his return around 10 weeks according to Thorup.
Liam Gibbs is set for a similar lay-off after damaging his own hamstring in training, his latest blow after a quad injury kept him out of play-off contention last term.
Jacob Sorensen and Christian Fassnacht are both training individually after recovering from their respective problems, but won’t return to team training until after the international break.
Thorup has declined to place a timeframe on Ashley Barnes’ recovery from an Achilles injury, but confirmed in his pre-match press conference that he was back in a protective boot. The striker had surgery this summer, but it hasn’t yet had the desired effect. Tony Springett, meanwhile, will be out until Christmas with a back injury.
Sam Byram is on the Leeds bench, managed by former City colleague Daniel Farke. He's joined there by Patrick Bamford, who spent time on loan in Norfolk in 2016.
