Norwich City's under-21s are hoping to make it two wins in a week tonight, and they'll have a bumper Carrow Road crowd to aid their mission.

The Canaries face Manchester United in Premier League 2, the top flight of English academy football, three days on from their International Cup win over Sparta Prague.

More than 4,000 tickets have been sold for the game, with an away allocation for the Red Devils that City coach Alan Neilson hopes will make for a raucous atmosphere.

"I think at the minute it's about 4,600 tickets sold, so that's excellent," he revealed. "I'd probably say that 90% of the players haven't played in front of that many people.

"I think Manchester United have got their own little section, they're going to bring about 300 fans along, so that atmosphere will be even more lively.

"The experience of that, and also playing in a stadium like Carrow Road, it's great. The more fans who come, the better it'll be."

After a line-up that included multiple first-teamers on Tuesday, Neilson's academy regulars will be keen to show they've got what it takes to play at the top.

One of those is Uriah Djedje, who's looking forward to gaining more experience at the Canaries' home stadium.

"There is nothing like playing in that stadium," he added. "This is the type of stuff that we live for as footballers. We all as children wanted to play in the big stadiums, the big atmospheres, the big crowds.

"This is just a stepping stone, this is us getting a taste for it. Now that we like that taste, we want to get more out of it, more opportunities like this.

"So it'll be another good test, against another good side in Manchester United. But we've got a good, strong, fit side. We're fit enough to play again.

"We're looking forward to it, and hopefully we get a win."
