Norwich City will face Brighton & Hove Albion at Carrow Road in the third round of the FA Cup.
They’ll hope to pull off an upset against the Seagulls, who have become an established Premier League side and are pushing for Champions League qualification under Fabian Hurzeler.
The tie will take place on Saturday, January 11 unless rescheduled.
The sides last met in April 2022, drawing 0-0 as Dean Smith’s side were relegated back to the Championship. The score was the same the last time Brighton visited Norfolk, Josh Sargent infamously failing to take advantage of an open goal.
Norwich are currently ninth in the second tier, while Albion are fourth in the top flight.
The Canaries reached the fourth round of the competition last season, scraping through with a replay victory over Bristol Rovers before losing 5-2 to eventual quarter-finalists Liverpool at Anfield.
They reached the semi-finals in 1959, 1989 and 1992, as well as the last eight under Daniel Farke in 2020.
