Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl has swiftly moved onto the meeting with Norwich City after a humbling defeat this weekend.
The Owls were thrashed 6-2 by Watford in front of their home fans on Saturday, collapsing in the second half having gone into the break level.
Rohl was devastated by the performance and result on a sore Saturday evening, lamenting a loss that leaves his side 18th in the Championship table going into the midweek round of fixtures.
“It is a big disappointment and I cannot accept this," he said, speaking to official club channels shortly after the final whistle. "I am shocked and disappointed. We started the game well, we got back into the game after they scored and it was even at half time.
“For me, I was convinced we would go on to win. But the two penalties changed the game. They scored again when we had to push up the pitch, we get one back and you think maybe.
“But after that it was unacceptable. To concede five goals in one half is not right. I have shown the goals to the players immediately after the game, I have shown them the collective and individual mistakes."
The visit of Johannes Hoff Thorup's men provides an opportunity to make up for it quickly, however, and that's where the focus has been for Wednesday in recent days.
Rohl knows they're in for a tough test against the Canaries, who themselves are hoping to bounce back from an unlikely reverse by Cardiff last time out.
“We will now recover and we must put this result behind us," the German continued, "because we have a very important week coming up.
“We had to immediately start looking forward to Norwich. I needed to think about my team for the game against a good side.”
