Tash Snelling scored twice as Norwich City Women beat Cambridge United 2-0 at The Nest.
Snelling settled the Division One South East clash with a goal in each half and was quick to praise the supply line.
“I've said this time and time again, I can't put that ball in the back of the net without the service, so it's all down to my team-mates,” she said.
The opener came on 21 minutes when Freya Symonds teed up Snelling, with Issy Moore, making her first league start, producing an inch-perfect cross for Snelling to make it 2-0 soon after the hour mark.
“She (Moore) is such a young player, but so talented and I've said to her before, put a ball in and I'll try and get the end of it,” said Snelling.
City’s next task comes on Thursday night when they return to Carrow Road to face old rivals Ipswich Town in a League Cup determining round clash (7.45pm).
“I think as a Norwich fan myself as well, it just makes me that little bit more excited,” admitted Snelling.
