Sheffield Wednesday have won the race for reported Norwich City target Olaf Kobacki.
The Sheffield Star are reporting that Wednesday are set to sign the Arka Gdynia winger as their recruitment drive continues.
Kobacki was linked with a move to Norwich by reports in Poland on Friday and was a noticeable omission from Arka's friendly against Linfield on Saturday, with suggestions that his to England was 'imminent'.
Norwich were monitoring Kobacki, but Wednesday pipped them to secure his signature. Danny Rohl is keen to improve his squad this summer after they survived a relegation battle last term.
Championship new boys Derby County were also linked with a move for Kobacki, who netted 13 goals in the Polish second tier last as Arka missed out on promotion to the top-flight.
Wednesday have already added Max Lowe, Ben Hamer, Yan Valery, and Svante Ingelsson, with Jamal Lowe also mooted with a move to Hillsborough. Kobacki is set to be the latest recruit and will face Norwich twice next season.
