Adam Idah's late winner earned Norwich City a dramatic 2-1 win over Hull in their Championship opener.
Jon Rowe brought the Canaries back into the game after Liam Delap had opened the scoring at Carrow Road, before Idah scored a controversial settler in the 96th minute.
The hosts had made the brighter start, but were architects of their own downfall 17 minutes in. A mix-up between debutant Shane Duffy and Ben Gibson allowed Delap through on goal, and he smashed past Angus Gunn with aplomb.
David Wagner's side assumed their assault thereafter but struggled for a way back into the game, despite Onel Hernandez going round Matt Ingram.
Ozan Tufan almost doubled the Tigers' lead with his 26th-minute poke, before Duffy's header hit the base of Ingram's post and bounced away.
There were further chances for Hernandez, Jack Stacey, Ashley Barnes and Josh Sargent, but Norwich couldn't find the breakthrough their play deserved.
That was until the third minute of first-half stoppage time, when Rowe's unerring strike found the top corner to level things.
Hull collected some composure and looked more assured in the second half, Delap coming close with a long-range effort that Gunn tipped over the bar.
The hosts pushed for a winner and eventually found one, Idah poking past Ingram to win it for Norwich.
