AC Milan have made an offer for Norwich City centre-back Andrew Omobamidele, according to reports from Italy.
They've suggested that last year's Champions League semi-finalists have submitted an offer worth 7.5million Euros for the Irish defender, but that the Canaries are hoping to receive at least double that for him.
The Italian giants are said to have earmarked the Norwich man as a potential replacement for Matteo Gabbia, who left the club on loan for Spanish side Villareal last week.
Omobamidele was the subject of a bid worth more than £25million in January, according to City sporting director Stuart Webber, but that was rejected as David Wagner's side targeted Championship promotion.
The Norfolk side are open to selling the 21-year-old this summer, as they look to raise funds in a complex financial landscape. They prepared for significant interest in him and Max Aarons, but have not yet received close to an acceptable offer for either.

Omobamidele was linked with Milan earlier this summer, as well as Premier League sides Sheffield United, Burnley and Nottingham Forest. Those reports suggested that Milan's chief scout Geoffrey Moncada was keen on the six-times-capped international, and had been for some time.
Speaking to the Pink Un in May, Webber said: "We turned down an offer in January for Andrew Omobamidele which was bigger than what we sold Ben Godfrey for (to Everton).
"We're fortunate as a club that how we've run it, how we've tried to run it, is to make sure that we don't have a gun against our head. Sometimes we choose to sell the player, because it's the right thing maybe to reinvest in the squad."
Omobamidele made 34 appearances last season, captaining the team at the back end of the term after Grant Hanley's achilles injury ended his campaign.
He broke into the first team under Daniel Farke during City's title-winning season of 2021, impressing in the Premier League before injury curtailed his 2021-22 season.
