German top tier side Hoffenheim have confirmed the signing of young attacker Jykese Fields from Norwich City.

Fields had featured primarily for the Canaries' under-18 side, playing three games in the under-18 Premier League last season.

He last featured in a 4-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur, playing as a centre-forward for 31 minutes.

A statement from Hoffenheim said: "Jykese Fields will strengthen the TSG U17 team from the 2023/24 season.

"The attacker has been active in Norwich City's academy for the past three years and featured for the Canaries Under-18s in the 2022/23 season in the Junior Premier League.

"The German-American (born June 14, 2007 in Minot, North Dakota) is returning to Germany with his move to Kraichgau. Before his station on the island in der Pfalz he played for the juniors of FK Pirmasens and before that for FC Germania Hütschenhausen.

"Welcome to the TSG Academy, Jykese Fields!"
