Norwich City and England Under-21 defender Max Aarons is reportedly on Fulham's radar, with the Cottagers weighing up a £10m approach.

The Daily Telegraph's transfer notebook claim on Tuesday evening Marco Silva wants competition at right back after an impressive 10th-placed Premier League finish.

Both Aarons and City sporting director Stuart Webber have already indicated this summer might be the right time to cut ties at Carrow Road.

Aarons is approaching the final 12 months of his current deal and has made no secret of his desire for top flight football.

City meanwhile have already shown their hand with a move for free agent Jack Stacey following his Bournemouth release, while teenage prospect Kellen Fisher will initially join the club's development squad after his signing from non league Bromley.

The Telegraph report Silva wants competition for Kenny Tete with Arsenal's on-loan full back Cedric Soares set to return to the Emirates.

Aarons has already been linked with Roma again this summer, who previously were interested along with Barcelona.

The attacking full back is currently with the Young Lions preparing for their opening game in the European under-21 Championships.

England begin their campaign against their Czech Republic counterparts on Thursday at the tournament held jointly in Georgia and Romania.

Lee Carsley's squad have been drawn in Group C alongside Germany and Israel, alongside the Czechs.
