Teemu Pukki reportedly has an offer from Turkish second tier champions Samsunspor ahead of his official Norwich City exit.

Turkish media claim on Monday morning Pukki’s representatives now have firm interest from Samsunspor, who will play the likes of Galatasaray and Fenerbahce next season after romping to the Turkish second division title by 10 points.

Pukki called time on a five-year Carrow Road spell earlier this month, and is a free agent from July. The Finn made it clear he wants ‘one final adventure’ before he returns to his homeland with his young family.

The 33-year-old is also believed to have interest from Germany and America but Samsunspor have made an early summer move.

The ‘Red Lightning’ play in a 33,000 capacity stadium in the city of Samsun, a major Black Sea port on the north coast of the country.

Samsunspor, who were last in the Turkish top flight in 2012, have also targeted Olympiacos forward Cedric Bakambu, as they look to boost their goalscoring threat ahead of a Super Lig tilt.

Pukki notched 88 goals in 209 games at Norwich and was a key figure in two title-winning Championship campaigns.

"Wherever I go, and I don't know yet, I need to think about how my family will fit in,” he said, ahead of his Blackpool swansong. “My children grew up and went to school here so it will be a change for them as well but they are ready for it.

"They know we will end up in Finland eventually, so they want to see something before it's all snow and cold winters there. I still have two or three years left in me in football. One more adventure somewhere, and we will see where I end up. After that, it will be my time to go home."
