Norwich City duo Angus Gunn and Kenny McLean have been included in Scotland's squad for upcoming internationals in June.

The City duo will represent their country prior to returning for pre-season training at Colney.

Gunn will be hoping to solidify his place as Scotland's number one keeper after switching allegiances earlier this year.

The 27-year-old kept back-to-back clean sheets after being included in the international set up for the first time during their last international camp.

He has edged ahead of Tim Krul in the race to be City's first-choice goalkeeper and is targeting a complete season of action after stop-start campaigns in previous years. That will include consistency on the international stage ahead of next summer's Euros.

After the end of a goalkeeping cycle that included ex-City keeper David Marshall, Craig Gordon and Allan McGregor - Clarke has presented Gunn with an opportunity to nail down the role long-term.

McLean, who missed the final portion of City's Championship season with a knee injury, is also included and will be fully fit for start of the Canaries pre-season in early July.

Grant Hanley has been a regular under Steve Clarke but will be sidelined until 2024 with an Achilles injury sustained in their 2-0 Good Friday victory over Blackburn. Ex-City loan midfielder Billy Gilmour has also been named in the squad.

The pair will immediately link up with their international squad ahead of Euro 2024 qualifiers away at Norway and Georgia.

Gunn is line to earn his third cap for Scotland whilst McLean will feature for the 29th time if handed an opportunity by Clarke.

Scotland sit top of Group A after recording successive victories against Cyprus and Spain in March.

Elsewhere, Marcelino Nunez has been included in Chile's international squad for matches at the end of next month.

City's midfielder has been enjoying a well-deserved break after 18 months of consecutive football, including his move to Carrow Road.

Chile face Cuba in a friendly on June 11 before playing the Dominican Republic six days later and concluding the camp with a match away to Bolivia.
