Norwich City academy product Carlton Morris has been promoted to the Premier League with Luton Town.

The Hatters beat Coventry City in the Championship play-off final after a 1-1 draw in 120 minutes.

Manager Rob Edwards also spent time at Carrow Road as a loanee in 2011. Paul Trollope, his joint-assistant at Luton, was part of Chris Hughton’s staff in his time at Norwich.

Jordan Clark opened the scoring for Luton in the 23rd minute, before Gustavo Hamer’s second-half equaliser took the game to penalties.

Morris found the net with the first of the shoot-out, before Matt Godden scored the Sky Blues’ first.

Fankaty Dabo missed the crucial penalty for Coventry, sending the Bedfordshire side up to the Premier League.

The Sky Blues and former Canary manager Mark Robins stay in the Championship and will face Norwich next season.
