Norwich City left back Dimi Giannoulis is the subject of interest from two Russian clubs this summer.
It's understood Giannoulis is wanted by Russian Premier League duo Dinamo Moscow and Spartak Moscow, with both clubs having made tentative enquiries to his representatives about his availability this summer.
Norwich are yet to receive any formal bid for the defender, and there is still a possibility he remains at the club next season.
The Greek international, 27, is entering the final 12 months of his contract having joined the club on an initial loan deal from PAOK in January 2021 before making it permanent that summer in a move worth £6.2million.
Russian clubs have been expelled from European competitions following the country's invasion of Ukraine last February but still play domestically.
Clubs are still permitted to sign players - with former City loanee Mathias Normann playing his football in the country.
Giannoulis agent, Vassilis Panagiotakis, has revealed that he has spoken to the clubs and admitted a move could happen this summer.
"Something could definitely happen," Panagiotakis told Transfers Greek, "not now, but in the summer. A possible transfer to Russia is an option. We have spoken with two very large Russian clubs."
Giannoulis has made 26 Championship appearances this season, battling it out to be City's main left-back with Sam McCallum.
Norwich will welcome Bali Mumba back into the fold this summer after an impressive loan move at League One champions Plymouth Argyle where he played predominantly as a left-wing back under Steven Schumacher.
Mumba is set to be handed an opportunity in pre-season, with David Wagner keen to run the rule over the 21-year-old ahead of the new season in August.
McCallum is the other player in that area of the pitch, with Norwich looking for reinforcements on the right following Sam Byram's release. They are also braced for interest in academy graduate Max Aarons who has also entered the final 12 months of his City contract.
Motherwell right back Max Johnston is among their list of targets in that area of the pitch and is understood to have visited Colney in recent weeks. There is stiff competition for the youngster, however, and the Scottish club would be entitled to compensation.
Norwich are ramping up their transfer business and will confirm the signing of experienced striker Ashley Barnes later this week. The 33-year-old has signed a two-year deal at Carrow Road.
