Norwich City goalkeeper Archie Mair saved two penalties for Notts County as they were promoted to League Two with a shoot-out win over Chesterfield.
Mair, who also spent time on loan at King's Lynn Town, was introduced by manager Luke Williams specifically for the shoot-out, after the Magpies played out a 2-2 draw with the Spireites at the end of extra time.
The Scottish youth international saved Chesterfield's second penalty, denying Darren Oldaker to give County the advantage. He then saved from Jeff King to keep it 3-2, before Cedwyn Scott sealed the victory with his penalty.
Mair has made five appearances since signing for the Midlands club on loan in January, keeping three clean sheets and conceding just two goals.
He still has a year left on his deal at Carrow Road, as well as the club having an option to extened that by a year from the summer of 2024.
