Norwich City Women eased into the final of the Norfolk Senior Cup after a 5-0 demolition of Dussindale and Hellesdon Women on Sunday afternoon.
Norwich peppered Rovers' goal from the start and it didn’t take long for them to open the scoring. Ellie Smith had incredible feet to find herself free in the middle and slot it coolly past Tyla Cole.
Just before the break, the woodwork came to Rovers' rescue again as Snelling hit the post.
The second half continued in a similar vein. City on top and Dussindale couldn’t handle the Canaries’ quality.
Norwich had multiple chances to extend their lead; Megan Todd played a perfectly weighted ball through to Freya Symonds who was one-on-one with Cole, but the Rovers keeper was equal to the attempt.
Symonds made up for that just moments late when Smith worked her way into the Rovers box and laid it off for Symonds who doubled City’s lead.
Norwich scored two in quick concession. Firstly, it was bundled over Cole's line after fine play from Smith again and Olivia Cook was there to put it over the line. Then Smith made a goal on her own from the kick-off. She won the ball ran through the Rovers' defence and slotted it calmly home.
The final action of the game was Symonds getting her second, after firing from long range and it coming off a Dussindale defender.
