Norwich City's poor home form continued with a 3-0 defeat to Championship table toppers Burnley at Carrow Road.
Goals from Anass Zaroury, Vitinho and Hjalmar Ekdal sealed three points for the Lancashire side, while a toothless Norwich side saw their unbeaten start to David Wagner's league tenure ended on a difficult afternoon.
In the eighth minute it was poor Tim Krul distribution that gave the visitors an opening, his pass straight out to Zaroury calmly slotted home by the Clarets winger.
Wagner's side retaliated 10 minutes later when Teemu Pukki set up Kieran Dowell, but the Liverpudlian drove straight into Bailey Peacock-Farrell's legs to keep it 1-0 in a chance-light first half.
Burnley then started the second period in the same way they had the match, doubling their lead just ten minutes after the restart. Vitinho's first touch of the game was heading Johann Berg Gudmundsson's corner beyond Krul for 2-0.
Things got worse for Norwich just five minutes later, Hjalmar Ekdal tapping home after Ian Maatsen had squared another Gudmundsson corner for the Swede.
The Canaries were unable to find a way back into the game despite a penalty appeal when Gabriel Sara drove into the box, and they remain eighth in the Championship with a number of their play-off rivals still to play this afternoon.
