Norwich City's home clash against Birmingham City scheduled for later this month has been postponed after they beat League One strugglers Forest Green Rovers on Tuesday.
David Wagner's side will now have a free weekend on January 28 after goals from Lukas Jutkiewicz and Kevin Long helped the Blues progress through to the fourth round despite any early scare from Ian Burchnall's men.
Ben Stevenson gave the third-tier side the lead after eight minutes, only for John Eustace's men to mount a second-half comeback to book their place in the next round.
The fixture will be rearranged for a later date, with there now being a gap between their away clash to Coventry City on Saturday and their home match against league leaders Burnley on February 4.
Wagner may well view that period as beneficial training time to continue the transition to his high-intensity style of play, which started positively with a 4-0 victory over Preston North End on Saturday.
Birmingham will travel to Ewood Park to face fellow Championship side Blackburn Rovers, who knocked out City with a 1-0 victory at Carrow Road earlier this month.
Norwich City and Birmingham will announce a new fixture date in due course.
