We often look to the past wistfully, recalling simpler times.

In particular, our childhood memories can be a source of great comfort that brings a smile to our faces.

And today we have delved into the archive to find photos of growing up in the 1960s at one of Norfolk's delightful market towns, Diss.

There's the carnival and donkey derby.

And can you remember Tufty Clubs? 

Tufty Fluffytail, created in 1953, was the iconic red squirrel who helped the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents educate children about road safety until the 1990s.
