Norwich City midfielder Danel Sinani was sent off for Luxembourg in their friendly stalemate with Bulgaria.

Sinani was dismissed for a second yellow card in the 87th minute, having been booked in the 22nd minute of the game.

The 25-year-old started the game, which finished 0-0, and is expected to join his club team-mates in Tampa for their warm weather training camp.

Joining him will be fellow international Marcelino Nunez, who played the full 90 minutes of Chile's 0-0 draw with Slovakia alongside the likes of Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez in a 4-4-2 diamond formation.

Attentions now turn to Josh Sargent, the only Canaries player at the World Cup. His USA side play Wales, England and Iran in their group.

Speaking to The Fresno Bee ahead of the tournament, Sargent said: "It's what any kid dreams of, so it's pretty amazing."
