The top two in the Slater & Frith Division One, Coltishall and Runton met at the former’s ground and it was they who ran out 4-1 home victors to strength their lead at the top.
Gimingham still remain a threat to the leaders following goals from Charlie Skipper and Ryan Beeson, which saw them 2-0 winners over Ludham, and they are still very much in the melting pot. Horning came out on top of a seven goal thriller at Corpusty thanks to goals from Craig Bennett (2), Danny Marks and Lee McCory.
Goals from Mark Burton, Louis Holden and Lee Clarke saw East Ruston put more daylight between themselves and the bottom two with a 3-1 home win over Lyng whilst Haisboro Athletic showed bottom side Aldborough Lions little mercy as they hammered them 7-1 with Tom Crabb notching a hat-trick, Mark Noble (2) and one apiece from James Underhill and Matt Brown. North Walsham ‘A’ scored the only goal at Worstead to take the points and leave their hosts looking anxiously up the table.
There were big wins in the Wayford Nurseries Division Two for leaders Mundesley, who scored ten at Aldborough Green where the second string replied just once, Cromer Youth Old Boys were also amongst the goals when at Buxton Reserves they netted eight times without reply with Michael Warnes scoring four times others on target were Chris Furlong, Kieran Amis, Jordan Buxton and Ryan Sadler. There were away wins for Hickling 2-1 at Blakeney and Aylsham ‘A’ 3-1 at Cawston
Both front runners in the Knights Trophies Division Three recorded victories, leaders Glaven Valley 3-1 over Coltishall Reserves and Plumstead Rangers went nap away at Trunch. Mundesley Reserves hit East Ruston Reserves for eight without reply and Felmingham scored a 7-1 away success at Erpingham Reserves.
