Milot Rashica is a top summer transfer priority for Galatasaray – with the Turks reportedly preparing a €7m offer to tempt Norwich City to sell.

The on-loan wide player is currently away on international duty and could feature for Kosovo in Tuesday’s Euro2024 home qualifier against Andorra.

But the 26-year-old has caught the eye with the Super Lig leaders during a season long move.

Now leading Turkish newspaper, Hurriyet, claim Gala officials will offer €7m in further close season talks.

The publication’s online sports portal tweeted to its 1.4m followers on Tuesday morning Rashica’s willingness to get a deal done has convinced Gala to step up negotiations for a permanent transfer.

Sports journalist Ali Naci Kucuk reports Rashica’s signature is viewed as the priority ahead of fellow loan signing Mauro Icardi.

The Norwich attacker has scored four goals and provided four assists in 20 league and cup appearances for Gala, who lead arch rivals Fenerbahce by six points at the top.

Norwich City head coach David Wagner indicated when he initially arrived there was no facility to recall Rashica in the January window.

Fellow wide player Christos Tzolis did return to his parent club, after a mutual agreement to terminate a disappointing loan move to Holland. City also brought in Arsenal loan player Marquinhos in the closing days of the transfer window.

Rashica, who is under contract at Carrow Road until 2025, saw his debut campaign end in Premier League relegation, after arriving from Werder Bremen in 2021 for a potential club-record transfer.

The Kosovan international started the Canaries’ opening three Championship games, with former head coach Dean Smith praising his attitude in pre-season, but was edged out of the starting XI by Danel Sinani.

Rashica is already a firm fan favourite in Istanbul, and made it clear earlier this season he would be open to a longer term stay for Champions League-chasing Gala.
